As a TechStars mentor I focus on companies in the travel vertical. Working with start-ups through TechStars, as well as companies I have met through PhoCusWright's Travel Innovation Summit and The Young Leaders Summit is a great experience. I enjoy providing my insight and ideas to young stars in the industry and I always learn as much as as I teach.

The Mountain Travel Symposium is the single largest gathering of mountain travel professionals in the world. MTS is about business development, thought leadership and global perspective. As Forum Producer my role was primarily to create and produce the Forum. I built the Forum into what became regarded as the most important and influential content in the mountain travel industry. I was also responsible for international sales development. sponsorship sales and provided marketing consulting.

Travel Massive is a global initiative to connect people in the travel industry locally, bringing together travel brands, bloggers, start-ups, professionals, journalists and students. Currently located in more than 35 cities in 9 countries, Travel Massive Global is growing on a daily basis.

Founded company in 1982 after graduating from UCONN. Built company into one of the largest independent ski tour vacation firms in the U.S. With revenue reaching $25M. Moguls became a large family of passionate skiers and snowboarders. We began aggressively marketing ski travel online in 1994, at least 3 years ahead of most of our competition. Built a proprietary online group booking system that was best in class. We had a successful exit with sale of company to Resort Sports Network in 1999, bought the company back in 2001 and then sold it to Intrawest in 2003. Continued to run company as CEO until 2005.

Great high school and college summer job, selling hot dogs, cold beer, soda, ice cream and peanuts at Veterans Stadium. Highlights include being at all 3 home World Series games in 1980 when the Phillies beat the KC Royals, Eagles victories over the Dallas Cowboys, watching Mike Schmidt play (greatest all around third baseman of all time) and the bonus of working at concerts across the street at JFK stadium including The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd in their prime, Fleetwood Mac and more.
