Instead of having responsibility for all testing associated with numerous releases in a single Delivery Centre Business Unit I now have responsibility for some projects focussed within a single business unit but also for projects which involve multiple business units, delivery models and application technologies. Typically, the resources working with these business units are not co-located in project teams but are geographically distributed so it is often necessary to manage the project test resources remotely. Performance reviewer responsibilities have continued as has liaison with internal and customer stakeholders.In theory, creating a new business unit within an existing large account structure should not be too difficult, but there are numerous complications about the way this account works and being involved in pioneering and developing new processes is making this an exciting time in Capgemini.
