Also an industry first in the Duvernay; Developed a water management plan for sourcing, transport, and storage of water for completion of wells, including identifying and evaluating sources and planning infrastructure for water handling and recycling;Lead and drove all aspects to find and implement not only temporary but permanent water treatment solution to be in place at all 3 plansites w.r.t. treatment and disposal of produced and blowback water. Involved in all levels of details from the R&D to execution, to coordination of moving equipment. This included: reserve determinations, 5 year development plan and associated economics. Development plan included drilling ~ 500 wells over a five time frame, and created a full - scale reservoir and network model for the area (contained over 2000 wells).Managed capital cost reduction task force: Worked closely with all disciplines to reduce costs of getting a well from conception to production. This included line-by-line review of a type well AFE, and challenging all departments involved to think of new and innovative ways to save money. The cost reductions resulted in reducing capital per well by over 30% ($288,000 to $152,000/well). Show less
