I am passionate about delivering change and developing profitable opportunities for disabled people in employment. I set up my first social enterprise in 2012 giving disabled people a chance to take their destiny into their own hands.Passion 4 Social CIC is a new social enterprise that engages with people with disabilities and health conditions that offers opportunities to work from home in the digital arena. We have also seen Big Lottery Scotland believe in our new Digital marketing agency that will engage with hundreds of people with disabilities that are housebound. This will now be funded to the tune of £233,000 over the next three years, starting December 2016.It’s quite the achievement and a remarkable evolution of what began as a glimmer of an idea in the mind of a man trying to grasp the thought 'I will never walk again' Four years on and over 60 disabled people helped; things are looking extremely positive.The main mission is to reduce isolation & improve the lives of disabled people throughout Scotland by providing flexible employment solutions that drive a profitable business.DNDP CIC has two strands:1. Delivered Next Day Personally is a high-end, competitive, secure courier service dedicated to creating an agent network in the transport sector of people with disabilities that will become employed, self-employed & ultimately own their own franchise.We also employ 18 – 26-year-olds; initially as work experience with the target of employing one young person for every two drivers as the co-pilots. This provides the disabled driver with someone to do the ‘leg work’, and an opportunity to mentor someone.2. Digital Network for Disabled People is a digital marketing agency that engages with people with disabilities that are predominantly housebound.
