Chartered Accountant with extensive experience as a Main Board Finance & Non Executive Director.Wide ranging experience of managing rapidly growing businesses, financed by a range of different investors, including private equity. I was a member of the highly successful MBO team at Nelson, the Chester based wealth manager and I was Group Finance Director of Henleys, the Fast Track young fashion brand, with responsibility for both their retail and wholesale businesses. I now advise a portfolio of privately-owned businesses. Recent assignments have ranged from advising on acquisitions to regular, longer term main board level participation. Recent turnaround assignments have included a £24 million refinancing for a global environmental consultancy through to managing a Manchester Law firm through a pre-pack administration and to a successful merger. This included a review of the firm's strategic options together with all aspects of related legals, financials and negotiation with secured creditors, equity stakeholders, the Administrator and the SRA. I have subsequently completed a further two law firm acquisitions via pre-packs for a highly acquisitive legal services client.
