In addition to guiding the Human Resources function, established technology-based HR function by scoping, procuring and guiding the full implementation of applicant tracking (ATS), HRIS portals and a full talent management suites and LMS learning management systems, including managing the RFP process for technologies such as Cornerstone On-Demand’s cloud platform, SkillSoft content libraries, Ultimate software, ADP applications, and Wellness Portals. Awarded Training Magazine's “Top 125 Training Companies” in the United States, for being the Architect of a robust corporate blended/digital learning strategy.

N New Horizons Worldwide, Inc., through its corporate-owned and franchised “New Horizons Computer Learning Centers” and on-line schools, was the world's largest independent training company with over 300 locations in 70 countries. Recruited as the Company's first Human Resources executive, was charged with overhauling a legacy tactical-based HR function to ensure legal compliance and strategy alignment across all International business units. Was responsible for 1400 corporate and multi-state training center employees (including locations in Amsterdam and Singapore) and supported franchise owners with 4500+ affiliated franchise employees. Managed through dynamic environments of multiple acquisitions and integration initiatives, followed by Company division divestitures and shutdowns.

Partnered with departing Virgin Entertainment executives as one of four founding members of New-Media Network Inc., a technology start-up created to launch an entertainment-centric blended “Click-and-Mortar” retail concept combining physical stores and digital web-based distribution. In addition to starting-up all HR functions and managing employee relations, benefits programs and aggressive recruiting targets, collaborated with executive partners, developed the core business plan and supported investment presentations to VCs that acquired multi-million dollar start-up funding. Partnered extensively with the technology and innovation leaders to assemble and help align teams that drove our cutting-edge digital content licensing and distribution core business. In addition to managing all HR functions and organization design, I teamed with the CEO to create all marketing and investor advertising strategies and materials.

Virgin Entertainment Group (U.S. division) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Richard Branson’s Virgin Group Ltd. Virgin Entertainment was primarily responsible for the Virgin Megastore retail chain and product distribution network, Virgin On-Line Retail, Virgin Radio and other Virgin-related marketing entities in the U.S. and Canada. Served as the North American division’s autonomous Human Resources leader, was charged with creating a high-profile HR function fully in-line with one of the world’s most recognizable brands and culturally-respected organizations. Built a HR shared-serviced group that helped to grow the North American retail division from 1 store with 90 employees to 19 Megastores and a corporate group with over 2000 employees, including locations in Union Square NYC, San Francisco, Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles and the world-renowned flagship location in Time Square NYC, recognized as the largest entertainment media store in the world.

Recruited to perform research, partner on booking selection, and concert marketing for the inaugural launch a new 65,000 seat concert facility for the venue’s season.
