Responsible for technology strategy and delivery in support of all CMC Global Shared Services including Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Reporting & Analytics, Legal, Procurement, Human Resources, Payroll and Safety.

• Responsible for analysis, design, implementation and support of the technology platform in support of the global process for a $2 billion line of business.• Leading a $7.5 million lean six-sigma project to drive process improvement, global standards and architect a software solution to support the business in 55 locations across three continents. Projected savings post implementation will be in excess of $10,000,000 resulting from creation of shared services, implementation of lean process for procurement, maintenance and branch operations.

Management and Leadership of a 56 person global team responsible for selecting, developing, implementing, training and supporting an application portfolio of over 500 applications.

• Participated in the transition of a 220 person IT organization to transform it from a siloed, business-based paradigm with only legacy application experience to a global shared service capable of implementing and supporting SAP worldwide. Deliverables included the development of interim and future state IT organization structures, job descriptions for key positions, skill assessment tool and talent inventory database.• Developed and Implemented a Resource Management Strategy allowing CMC to significantly reduce their reliance on external assistance and reduce SAP implementation costs. Deliverables included improved processes and tools for the management of over 300 SAP project resources to drive improved knowledge transfer, human asset management, hiring practices and skill set management.

• Managed all manufacturing, supply chain, transportation, customer service, finance, accounting, information technology and human resources for a $70M custom upholstery furniture manufacturer. Led a team of 300+ professional, clerical, manufacturing and technical staff • Designed and implemented IT strategy to provide a more robust and scalable environment to support growth initiatives. Strategy included improved system reliability, performance and stability, training and support methodologies, standard setting for hardware/software procurement & deployment.• Oversaw the implementation of Oracle to support manufacturing and order management

• Oversaw international staff of 85 professional & technical employees (including three directors) with a $15M budget. Supported 8,000+ users, 195 servers, and related hardware data/tele-communications global infrastructure.• Developed and implemented a multi-year strategy resulting in the implementation of a global single instance of the Oracle Enterprise Suite comprised of 40+ modules, 47 languages, and 36 currencies. • Drove IT efficiencies, cost savings and global standard setting by creation of purchasing, pricing policies and agreements with major equipment and application vendors resulting in an annual cost savings of $2M, cultivated an internal team for system implementation resulting in consulting fee savings in excess of $10M and implemented training and development programs for staff reducing turnover by half.

• Directed market study & business plan development for new water remediation system including competitive & market analysis and product pricing resulting in $2M revenue increase for business unit.• Reviewed business processes in core services groups including human resources, information technology, real estate and legal units to determine efficiencies.• Analyzed cost structure, performed benchmarking, developed metrics, implemented change management and restructured departments resulting in 10% productivity increase and $1M in savings

• Directed product selection, product marketing and sales support for a $170M business line encompassing 400+ product assortment.
