Mr. Bruce Whiteside is an accomplished, successful, award-winning, engineer, manager and inventor. Mr. Whiteside is a Senior Member of IEEE’s Computer and Communications Societies, has a U.S. Patent in wireless telephony, and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration.As a Staff Engineer at LifeFitness, Mr. Whiteside provides technical leadership and development of the Company's premiere product lines. The consoles include multiple embedded microprocessors, LCD displays, touch screen technology and integrated electrocardiogram monitors. As a Senior Systems Engineer at TransCore, a small high-technology company, Mr. Whiteside led a team that enhanced the Illinois Tollway’s I-PASS automatic vehicle identification system. The Tollway’s system collects over one-half billion dollars in tolls per year and averages well over two million transactions per day. Previously, at Tellabs, a Fortune 500 systems manufacturer, Mr. Whiteside was promoted to Senior Engineer where he provided technical leadership for the company’s billion dollar digital crossconnect system used to operate metropolitan and national telecommunication networks. He received a Key Contributor Award in recognition of his efforts. At Lucent, a Fortune 100 cellular infrastructure supplier, Mr. Whiteside was recognized with a Letter of Congratulations for outstanding work on the digitalization of cellular telephone systems. It was there that he received his U.S. Patent for an advanced wireless telephony feature.
