About Bruce Wiggin Phd

As the founder and CEO of Inoculus Ventures, I'm at the forefront of developing a novel treatment for dry eye disease, aiming to improve the quality of life for individuals with chronic conditions. This venture represents my latest endeavor in a career dedicated to healthcare innovation and medical technology advancement.Previously, I contributed over a decade of expertise as a design engineer at Asensus Surgical, later transitioning to an Academic Liaison role to bridge academic research with industry innovation. These experiences have complemented my entrepreneurial efforts and deepened my commitment to advancing surgical technologies.In my academic role as an Associate Professor at the UNC/NC State Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering, I guide future engineers from concept to prototype in medical device development, leveraging my extensive background in the design and development of medical technologies.
