Bruce W. Perry is a hybrid author, having published both Indie novels and non-fiction software and fitness books. Main fictional genres are science fiction/dystopian and detective thriller (I have written a series for both). On the technical side, I have written technical books, managed other writers, and spent time as a software engineer. Recent titles include The Last, Tsunami Beach, Gone On Kauai, Atomic Night, Accidental Exiles, Journey By Fire, and To The North. Fitness for Geeks came out about eight years ago.In the past, I edited a newsletter for environmental managers during the 1980s, got a Masters in Software Engineering at a Brandeis evening program, spent a number of years as a software engineer and contractor, and wrote three software books (e.g., Ajax Hacks) and one fitness one (Fitness For Geeks) for O'Reilly Media.I live in Vermont with my family and travel extensively, mostly to the high mountains.
