Developed technical vision and made all architectural decisions for the HP Network Automation System product and guided overall technical work of a team of 24 developers and 16 QA engineers in three geographically dispersed locations.

Technical lead responsible for all core architectural work for a network automation product. Also responsible for designing and developing a flexible distributed clustering architecture for the product, greatly increasing scalability of the application and the company’s ability to sell into much larger accounts.

Led development of automated publishing software used to produce ESPN.com, NBA.com, and NASCAR.com websites. Implemented significant portions of the back-end of ESPN.com and NBA.com. Improved performance, stability, and monitoring of the core application.

Joint academic and industry appointment. Developed and implemented fast algorithms, including massively parallel simulations, for the study of the structures of semiconductors and glasses to be used in the development of new materials by Corning and its subsidiary Biosym. Supervised graduate research students. Published 5 research papers.
