Examples include JBuilder, Capybara, Ferrum, Turbo, Stimulus, PDF Crowd, Faraday, and OAuth2.Major accomplishments:- Upgrade of server stack to Ruby on Rails 6.1 and Ruby 3.0. This required many code updates to conform to the current standards as the codebase is over 10 years old.- Introduction and proliferation of Hotwire (Turbo and Stimulus) replacing a proprietary Javascript architecture. The vast majority of the responsive behavior previously implemented in Javascript is replaced with simple Ruby on Rails server-side templates.- Design and implementation of a payment processing system that enables plug-and-play of multiple 3rd party payment integrators. Currently both Spreedly and Shuttle are used to support dozens of payment gateways. PCI certification is not required as the design does not require any sensitive data to be stored or even entered into any SuperCat system.
