Brian’s experience spans over 18 years of business planning, financial reporting, accounting, human resource management, asset management, property management, and real estate development and construction. Brian is responsible for managing the financial resources and daily operations of the company, and directing the human resources of the organization toward a unified pursuit of the company’s mission and vision.By working with the President and guiding the department heads of Commercial Properties, Brian is focused on formulating and implementing the long-term business strategy of CPI, while improving the company’s business processes. As General Manager, Brian is also tasked with building a unique corporate culture that is optimistic, fun and upbeat. His successful team building skills and steadfast ethics has made him an invaluable member of the CPI Management Team.Prior to joining CPI, Brian held several positions with Cole Investment Advisors and Cole Companies, Inc., locally owned real estate investment, development and property management companies. His titles included Vice President of Finance, Director of Corporate Finance, and Controller. While there, he was involved with over 60 real estate entities, encompassing in excess $500 million in transaction volume and 3.2 million square feet of retail and office space. Brian has also held the positions of Real Estate Accountant/Representative at the VIAD Corp, Special Projects Controller at the Dial Corp and Division Controller at OmniFlight.Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance, with an emphasis in Accounting and Information Technology, from Arizona State University and is working towards a Post Baccalaureate Certification in Accounting at ASU.Outside of these endeavors, Brian enjoys participating in dirt track stockcar racing and spending time with family and friends. Brian and his family have lived in Arizona since 1990.
