I am a member of the Applied Incubation team in WW Services (MCS HQ) where I lead a world-wide team of Enterprise Strategy architects known as the National Cloud Center of Excellence. My team supports the Cloud OS Network (COSN) program & National Cloud Initiative by working with more than 25 global service providers and government agencies to help them develop cloud service offerings, business models, technical strategies, and go to market plans.

I was technical & Enterprise Strategy lead for Partner Hosted Productivity Cloud Initiative, which subsequently became the Partner Hosted Cloud, and Cloud OS Network Program.I helped create Microsoft's initial strategy and architecture for a hosted enterprise cloud model for use by service providers to support enterprise customer requirements.This Initiative was embraced by a dozen world wide outsourcers, hosters, and telco firms prior to the transition into the Cloud OS Network program.

The Cloud Strategy team is part of the Microsoft Enterprise Services HQ organization where we focus on incubating new cloud solutions & strategy recommendations for partners and customers.I helped design and develop initial projects such as the Mobile Web Services & Mobile Web Gateway projects working with several international mobile service providers. This project created initial Web Service API's for text messaging, authentication, and identification using SIM cards on Windows based PC's.I also led several incubation projects involving the creation of Enterprise Travel Services platforms which integrated GDS platforms with enterprise planning tools such as Exchange, Lync, & SharePoint to create a next-generation travel planning and booking tools.

I worked on the .NET Compact Framework team where I helped design and develop and Microsoft's first releases (v1.0 through v2.0 SP1) of .NET mobile runtime platform for Windows CE, Windows Mobile, & Windows Phone.In this role, my team and I supported the .NET class libraries, Code Access Security (CAS), Global Assembly Cache (GAC), across multiple OS and CPU platforms including x86, ARM, & MIPS.

I was one of the first employees at Avogadro, where I helped design and create a new multi-platform & multiple point of presence application platform. I led our client team, where we pioneered the creation of the first Ajax style JavaScript and DHTML applications hosted in the web browser back in 2000. The platform was utilized to create real time web applications for ESPN delivering browser based game updates. The platform was also utilized to create an instant messaging platform which could support IM sessions across multiple client computers & mobile phones (WAP).

I worked on the Windows 9x and Windows NT teams as part of the Networking engineering teams. I helped develop the initial Windows 95 remote access software, as well as led a development team building Microsoft's initial VPN client and server protocols (PPTP) and Network Address Translation. In subsequent releases of Windows, my team created the initial Windows Firewall & Bridging technologies that shipped in Windows XP.
