Imagine packing your bags and leaving the vibrant city of São Paulo, Brazil, for the charming streets of Boston. That’s exactly what I did—not just to change scenery, but to embrace new challenges, meet diverse people, and immerse myself in fresh experiences. This bold move sparked something inside me, a desire to dive headfirst into the unknown and stretch beyond the familiar.Now, as a Computer Science student, I’ve found my rhythm in the world of STEM. From the moment my fingers tapped out that first line of code, I was hooked. It’s amazing how quickly programming has become the heartbeat of my day-to-day life. Each new problem is a puzzle waiting to be solved, and I can’t wait to see where this passion for technology will lead me.But there’s more to my story than coding. You’ll also find me on the soccer field, proudly representing my college as part of the BHCC soccer team. Kicking a ball around brings me back to my roots, and it’s a constant reminder of the pride I feel for my home country—though I like to throw in some humor now and then!Off the field and out of the classroom, I’ve taken on the role of Vice President of the STEM Club. Here, my mission is clear: to inspire more women to see the magic in technology. It’s a cause close to my heart, and leading in this space lets me blend my love for leadership with my passion for diversity and inclusion in STEM.What comes next?
