As an AirBnB Host, I have had the opportunity to improve my communication and empathy skills, always trying to understand how to best serve my guests. Having little face-to-face contact, I have also learned a lot about how to be empathetic through electronic messages.

Having this chance to see the city from a different angle than most, gathering information that allows me to perform different positions in a much more efficient way.

With training in different areas, I always try and find new ways to unite the different sets of skills I acquired throughout my unique training to help the best companies and people with whom I decide to work.

As an 'Angel Agent' with the DotStay company, I have the task of helping customers find the ideal rental home or apartment for the period in which they will be in the city. Normally customers need assistance not only in finding what they are looking for but also with the communication and bureaucracy in the country. My aim, in this case, would be to make the process easier and to help the company decide what to present to its customers, given my knowledge of the city and customer requests.

By working in a large company recognized worldwide and by working with different audiences I had the opportunity to learn even better how to work with people. The public that goes to these environments and a fairly demanding public and awaits an absolutely impeccable service. I had reviews that named me personally, showing that, even working there for just a few months, I demonstrated my ability to relate to customers and perform my best, even in a fairly difficult environment.

By teaching adults I was able to test my ability to better expose all the advantages of something I believe, that being, speak another language, and guide people along this path. Not having fixed classes, everyone who worked there had to believe in the school method and in the work of colleagues, helping deeply in the development of teamwork and trust in the company.

Work in a small advertising agency allowed me to learn a lot about making decisions and how development works. It also showed me the relevance of the different activities within a company. I learned a lot about specific topics I was studying at the time, but also about other topics, such as administration and project development, something that was of great help during and after my time there.

When I changed jobs within this same company I saw a different perspective on the place where I've been working. The company is highly recognized inside and outside its country and it has been very interesting to study trends worked for different types of audiences, taking as much as possible the psychological aspect of each buyer and many other details many may unintentionally ignore.

While working in this function, I was the first person that customers saw when they entered the shop and the last person they spoke to before signing the contract. I had many responsibilities, in addition to the teamwork, I was also the person responsible for the contracts, for the organization of the promotional materials and small promotions of the shop among partners.

The first official job I had, it allowed me to have many experiences, especially with people in a stressful situation, since I worked as the first person that one would find when they needed help with different electronic devices. This allowed me to better understand the needs of others and to help people with less specific knowledge than me to find the most suitable solution for them in each situation. It also helped me a lot with the teamwork, since I had to explain every problem of every person I came into contact with and explain the clients' problems to my colleagues.
