I am currently the Senior Privacy Counsel and DPO (where needed) for the LATAM region within GE HealthCare. My scope of work includes inserting the appropriate safeguards in place in order to protect one of our most valuable assets: personal data. Whether this personal data comes from our employees, customers or patients of our customers.Also, as a part of the Global Privacy and Data Trust Office, I am supporting in the design, implementation and maintenance of the Responsible AI Program at GEHC.During my career, I had previously worked within law firms and had the opportunity to manage teams of more than 20 professionals, which had more than 100 DPOaaS clients on its portfolio, and have conducted more than 500 privacy programs implementations.I am Certified International Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP-E), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.I hold a degree of Master of Laws in IT and IP Law, by the Georg-August Universität in Göttingen (2018-2020).I am a multilingual professional with a passion for studying languages: I am a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English, advanced level in Spanish and a beginner German speaker.I am ambitious, goal-driven, and energetic. I love challenging myself and being in contact with other departments in an enterprise. I have a passion for travelling, tech, having a good time with people, and being in contact with other cultures.
