I started my education by doing 2 Bachelors at the same time: Production Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering (which, at first, it wasn’t really my thing). By doing that I had to learn to have a huge sense of responsibility, focus and resilience. My first internship opportunity came in Finances at MRS Logística, a big ferry logistics company. That was my first job ever and where I learned a lot. After almost 2 years there, I left to go live my dream experience of living abroad. I lived for 3 months in the beautiful San Francisco where I was able to study not only English but also Product and Business Management. I met amazing people from all over the world which to this day are still very dear to my heart. Returning home, a year later I graduated in Production Engineer and decided it was now time to face the challenge of graduating in Telecommunications too, which until this moment still wasn’t what I loved (little did I know). A couple of years later, I got an internship at STI Telecom, a company from Brazil that provides Telecom solutions to many other companies. I learned a lot there and fell in love with the business, besides meeting great colleagues that helped me a lot through my years. After a year, I got another internship opportunity at Intelsat, one of the biggest satellite communications company. I was an intern for Sales and Asset Management teams. Once I got my degree in Telecommunications Engineering, I was hired as full-time employee. I now work with a dream, most amazing group of people at the Platform Solutions Management team, giving main support to Flex business and solutions. Intelsat’s Flex is a success and grows continuously and I am really proud to be a part of it. I am absolutely passionate about satellite communications and I am humble to be sure I will always have new things to learn and discover. We tend to believe that it is important to be at the right place at the right time - but in my opinion, one also needs to be ready. Otherwise, you might not grab it. I never took one day for granted. And I was also always lucky enough to meet the best people in my path, to whom I’m so grateful. People that helped me to be passionate about what I do, that helped me learn, grow, challenge and believe in myself - something that I have struggled but overcome more and more everyday. As a little girl, I never imagined myself being where I am today. It is nice to look back and realize it and to be proud of myself and my path. I hope that little girl is proud of me too.
