About Bruna Silveira Guimarães

I am a researcher at Centro Clima (Center for Integrated Studies on Climate Change and the Environment), working on projects related to Climate Change, mainly in the energy and industrial sectors. I am a PhD candidate and Master in Energy Planning, Environmental Engineer, and Meteorology technician. I have also lived in England, taking a sandwich degree (Environmental Science at UWE). During college I did an internship at GeoPrime, an environmental consulting company working on the environmental licensing of mining companies, and I also did an internship at the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro, in the areas of Environmental Licensing and Sanitation.My main objective is to contribute to sustainable development, minimizing the impact of society on the environment, and amplifying social benefits to local communities. I find it easy to adapt and improve myself. I have extensive knowledge in Office, SIG-ArcMap, Sanitation, Licensing, Environmental Management, and Climate Change. With experience in communicating with different stakeholders from private, governmental, and social institutions, in Brazil and abroad.
