Biosurgical SalesGenzyme Sanofi 2011 - 2014Greater Detroit AreaDuring my time with Genzyme and Sanofi I was responsible for the marketing and sale of two unique industry products, Seprafilm and Legoo. These products were marketed and sold to Surgeons in the States of Michigan and Ohio. These specialties included General Surgeons, GYN/Oncology Surgeons , Colorectal Surgeons, Surgical Oncologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Cardiothoracic Surgeons. A great deal of time in this role is spent in the operating room not only educating the Surgeon, but also the entire OR staff on how to work with the products correctly. I was also responsible for the recruitment, on-boarding, and training of 5 new hires during the Sanofi/Genzyme merger in the states of Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. While managing this process I completed 2012 and 2013 in the top 25% of the national sales force. -
Sales ConsultantBd 2001 - 2011Greater Detroit AreaDuring my nearly 10 years with BD I held 3 different positions(2 separate divisions) in multiple territories representing several product lines in the areas of Injection/Infusion therapy, phlebotomy, laboratory services, anesthesia, out-patient care, and surgery. These territories represented anywhere from $5,000,000 to over $10,000,000 in annual business for BD. At one point or another I worked with every department within the hospital setting and the entire alternate site medical community. I managed relationships with hospital and distributor partners across 5 different states; Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, Indiana, and Kentucky. I also managed up to 10 BD In-service employees to help facilitate hospital conversions of new safety products. Hospital conversions have consisted in the training of up to as many as 1000+ hospital employees on 1 to 10 different products.Some of my many accomplishments while at BD include the following.-2010 Presidents Club Winner.
