KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Establish the necessary Database management processes and practices for the redevelopment of the Obuasi Mine, and being operationally ready • Provide relevant and reliable geological geostatistical data to enable GIS to build maps and figures for reports, presentations and input to the 18 months plans, by rolling quarter. • Routinely update and maintain all GIS datasets in an efficient manner while building and maintaining a GIS database for use by multiple departments and users, to provide accurate data to the budgeting process • Deliver the GIS database activities within approved budget targets and specified timeframes, costs and related KPIs • Demonstrate Safety Leadership and improve the Culture across the Evaluation - GIS Department and with own team regarding Safety, Health, Environmental and Sustainable Development • Provide the resources and expertise to develop the team to capably and consistently deliver the annual budget, according to their role and level of authority • Rigorously drive implementation of projects and nurture and sustain a culture of Accountability and Continuous Improvement within team • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with Internal Stakeholders (Corporate, Group Planning & Technical, sister mines, CARO etc.) and external Stakeholders (Regulatory Agencies and Authorities, Minerals Commission) to establish existing and changing societal and regulatory expectations and requirements

Main tasks and responsibilities:Promote and demonstrate safe behaviour at all times.Demonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed SHE goals in support of the department, site and company standards.Demonstrate leadership in SHEC through personal behaviours and conversations, and ensuring that the Geology team report all SHEC incidents and participate in SHEC initiatives.Assist in maintaining underground and surface diamond drill hole database.Diamond drill core prep, cutting, and samplingLog diamond drill core and/or rock chips for geological, structural, and geotechnical dataQA/QC geologic data and samplesAssist in monitoring underground and surface diamond drilling at and around mine sites; Visit drill sites to log core, determine termination depths, conduct site safety inspections, and retrieve core trays.Perform borehole surveys and provide oversight of hole abandonmentAssist with reclamation procedures at all drill sitesAssist in the implementation of geophysical surveys as neededLiaise with drilling contractors, and surrounding communitySupport geology team as required, and to the wider MTS department

Responsibilities• Assist planning programmes for soil sampling and target drilling projects.• Surveying and mapping geologically promising sites• Carrying out series of field test to provide solid evidence of mineral deposits• Supervision of Geochemical soil sampling and drilling operations (Reverse Circulation“RC” and Diamond Drill “DD”)• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports on drilling statistics and geologicallogging summary.• Analysing geological data using computer applications• Collecting and recording of samples and data from test sites and capturing data into geodatabase.Skills• Geological surveying – I am familiar with a variety of methodologies for gatheringgeological data, including utilizing remote sensing and GIS data to identify potentialmineral deposits such as Surpac, ArcGIS, MapInfo Discovery, compass and GPS devices• Computer skills – Conversant using variety of computerized methods to compile andanalyse geo-spatial information for mapping and modelling such as Leapfrog Geo,MapInfo Discovery, Sirovision, Dips and MS Excel. • Data management – Conveniently, I can work with a variety of geoscience datamanagement software such as MS Access, Log Chief and acQuire GIM to capture andextract data. Similarly, I can create web application to support data management usingSQL, PHP, Javascript and front-end frameworks.• Collaboration – Ability to work efficiently with multidisciplinary teams of engineers andscientists throughout exploration and mining stages• Communication skills – I have a strong written and verbal communication skills to providereports to engineers and supervisors and share findings using MS PowerPoint and MSWord• Safety – I have developed a strong instinct for working in a safe and responsible mannerand also ready to abide by occupational health and safety policies present on site• Possesses a valid Ghanaian driving license class “B” manual

Champion the Perseus Mining Limited safety culture; ensure compliance with all OHS and Company safety standards and practices, ensure proper operation and maintenance and repair of department equipment and assets. Execute regional and local geologic exploration and mineral resource evaluations Manage exploration reverse circulation & core drilling programs, QAQC sampling, RC & diamond drill logging and data interpretation. Data gathering and collection with survey equipment and Global Positioning System instrumentation. Develop and create geologic maps and cross sections and exploration target maps to improve mineral exploration. Perform other duties assigned by managers.
