Medical Doctor, resident in Emergency Medicine at University of Pavia.President of the national board of the Italian Society of Residents in Emergency Medicine (CoSMEU), Vice-President of the Italian Society of Medicine in Extreme Environments (SIMAE) and member of the national board of the Italian Society of Mountain Medicine (SiMEM). My fields of research are the use of ultrasound in Emergency Settings (Emergency Departments and extreme environments); sedo-analgesia in ED and mountain medicine.I have a strong interest for pre-hospital care, emergency and disaster medicine, sports and all kind of adventures: for this reasons I am a member of Medical Pirates, a group of colleagues with whom I can sponsor sports and outdoors activities (run, climb, alpinism, MTB, scuba-diving...) and be involved in explorations and research projects.
