Bruno Corica is an experienced professional in the field of Personal Security and Protection Skills. He holds internationally recognised Instructor Certifications in various systems of combative skills, firearms and defensive tactics including SPEAR System/Personal Defence Readiness, ASP, Monadnock)He has worked as a federal law enforcement officer, trainer and educator with several Australian Federal Government agencies. Certified to teach tactical communication, defensive tactics, baton, OC spray, control and restraint, handcuffing and firearms. He was also responsible for training and mentoring operational staff and instructors.He has provided technical assistance and advice to various policing, correctional, and other governmental agencies regarding Use of Force training. Bruno has worked in high risk operations in a correctional environment as a Senior Prison Officer with the Security & Emergency Services Group. The group is responsible for conducting high security operations state-wide, in the management and security of high risk prisoners.In this role, he responded to and dealt with many dynamic incidents involving violence and unrest. He also conducted international prisoner escorts on behalf of Department of ImmigrationAs an accredited Defensive Tactics Instructor (SME) for the state Prison System Bruno was tasked by Correction's Victoria to review and standardize techniques and tactics state-wide, and was responsible for the ongoing training and assessment of operational staff and instructors.Bruno has previously attended the Victoria Police Operational Safety and Tactics Training Unit Symposium as a guest presenter. He has been a licensed Crowd Controller and Security Guard since 1993 and has a vast amount of experience working in the security industry including event security and Close Protection to corporate entities. He is currently a licensed Security Trainer in the state of Victoria.
