Project: Rio Tinto Simandou - Area 3 General Road Works (US$ 109 million) – Kissidougou/Guinea- Built Odebrecht’s pioneer camp for 150 people that would serve as the base for ODB's workforce and inspection teams from FLUOR (Owneers Engineer)). The camp had water/sewage treatment plants, incinerators, generator sets, medical clinic, laundry, kitchen, mechanic shop, and a heliport.- Generated income for local population and technical training for local employees.- Recovered approximately 70 km of dirt roads.- Topographic survey of 100 km of roads. Subsidized the client’s engineering studies.- Geotechnical study of 80 km of roads in order to obtain parameters about the soil’s support capacity.- Gave support in identifying a quarry and borrow pit areas for earthworks.- Interface with local teams, American/English teams (FLUOR), and Portuguese teams (Geoibérico/Geocontrole).

Project: VBG Simandou (Consortium between VALE and BSGR)Responsible for civil and earthworks. Reported to the Contract Manager.- Constructed an autonomous camp to 280 geologists from VALE with water/sewage treatment plants, incinerators, generator sets (1250 KVa), medical clinic, laundry, kitchen, and a heliport.- Generated income for local population and technical training for local employees.- Built 20 km of access roads for geotechnical drilling in the area for opening an iron ore mine and for geological drilling for VALE’s geological prospecting and for the drilling teams from GEOSOL (Brazil) and FORACO (France).- Implemented cost control of the earthmoving activities.- Ran a topographic survey of 600,000 m² in a closed forest, subsidizing designers for the mine project.- Deforestation of 200,000 m² of forest for landfill of the mine’s screening and tertiary crusher area.- Managed local teams and teams from France (Sogea Satom), South Africa (Kwikspace), and Canada (Wheaterhaven)
