I'm currently a staff research scientist at PNNL, working on scientific machine learning.From 2021-2024, I was an ML engineer and then the Director of Data Science at Carpe Data, where I led the R&D group and developed several deep learning models that helped insurance companies predict risk and price accordingly.I obtained my PhD in Computational Science and Engineering. My research involved numerically solving complex biological systems that are strongly coupled via reactive, stochastic fluid-structure interaction. My collaborators and I proposed methods to stabilize the numerical instabilities and impose boundary conditions in meshfree Lagrangian methods, as well as proposed formulations to couple spatial stochastic diffusion effects in the system.
