Bruno Mesureur is a civil engineer, graduated from the CNAM (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers) in 1985. He began his career at the Architecture Department of the City of Paris where he was in charge of new construction and renovation projects. Then he joined the CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment) to become successively responsible for the Building Structures Testing Laboratory then, in 1995, head of the Experimentation and Modeling division within the Structures department. He was director of the Virtual Laboratory project, research director on fastening techniques and high-performance concrete, in charge of the evaluation of construction products (European Technical Assessment) and technical expert at EOTA (European Organization for Technical Assessment) from 1995 to 2001. He cooperated with the American assessment organisation ICC Evaluation Service (in Brea, CA) for the assessment of anchor bolts according to ASTM / ACI standards. In 2001, he was appointed Director of Marketing and European & International Affairs. In 2002 he completed an MBA at HEC Paris and his master thesis focused on analysing the world market of fasteners in the construction sector. From 2004 to 2012, he managed international projects in the field of sustainable construction, notably in partnership with China. He represented CSTB at the Sustainable Building Alliance and coordinates standardization actions at CSTB. He is the French representative to EOTA, UEAtc (European Union for Technical Approval in Construction) and WFTAO (World Federation of Technical Assessment Organisations). He managed numerous partnerships, in particular with American, Canadian, Chinese, Japanese, Moroccan and European partner organisations. He is a technical assessor for COFRAC (French Accreditation Agency)Since 2019, he is an independent expert and international consultant in the construction sector. Partner of R2M Solutions within EU RSA Project on rapprochement between Morocco and EU. Cooperation with POINTE ADVISORY, USA on french and EU building codes. He advises enterprises in the construction sector, e.g. AKUO Energy on the assessment of BIPV systems at international level.Since 2021, he cooperates with the Executive Master® Real Estate and Sustainable Building, Energy, Carbon and Digital Transitions (MS IBD) of the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées Institut Polytechnique de Parisas Coordinator and Chair of the International Conferences. He is a member of the scientific and pedagogic committee of the Executive Master.
