Head Of Town Planning And Policy
CurrentI have overall responsibility for securing planning permission relating to all areas of Sainsbury's activity. This includes: new stores large and small; warehouses; and groceries online expansion. My role covers all aspects of the town planning process. I advise on the planning prospects for newly identified sites through to overseeing the detailed implementation of schemes. My schemes range in size from adapting existing units for our convenience format, through stand alone stores in market towns and on to major mixed use schemes in Whitechapel and North Kensington. I am involved in shaping planning policy and advise the Sainsbury's board on all planning matters.
