I have worked in the Health Club Industry for the past 30 years. I have worked with the best in the Industry. Ray Wilson founder of Family Fitness Centers and inventor of the Life Cycle. We built 86 clubs in 10 years to become the larges privately owned health club chain in the world in the 80's and early 90's. Mark Mastrov founder of 24 Hour Fitness. Rudy Smith founder of Holiday Health Spa's and inventor of the Smith machine. Larry Gurney founder of Rush 24/7 Complex.I have held many positions such as General manager, District manager and Regional manager. I have also owned and operated my own Health Clubs. I have for the past 20years of my 30 year career been worked as a trouble shooter in our industry. A trouble shooter is a person that if someone is building a Health Club from the ground up (Pre-sale) can put a marketing strategy to ramp up membership while the Health Club is being built. A trouble shooter will also be able to walk in to any struggling Health Club and identify the problem and implement systems and train staff on what they need to do. This would be done in a very short amount of time. The Health Club would begin to profit again.
