Project in partnership with the Institut Jean Le Rond d'Alembert (team LAM). The subject was to change the first modes of vibration of a cello string using active control as well as to conceive a prototype of an electric-mechanical hybrid instrument.- Building an optical sensor to measure the movement of the string and an actuator using the passage of an electric current in a permanent magnetic field. - Implementation of a protocol to measure the transfer function of the system in an open circuit, using knowledge of mechanics and system theory as well as Python programming.

Research program at LAVI (Laboratory of Acoustics and Vibrations) from COPPE (Latin America's largest center for research and education in engineering). Construction of a gadget that captures the forces and waves propagation on aluminum beams. Data analysis using extensometers as well as different softwares, such as Python, Matlab and LabView.

Research program at LAFAE (Laboratory of Alternative Sources of Energy) from COPPE (Latin America's largest center for research and education in engineering). Realization of a study of the Sun and the structuring of a projet in order to create thermosolar household appliances aiming the economy of energy and water filtration so that the poor communities around the city of Rio de Janeiro (favelas) could be helped.
