- I am currently working on the back-end of the AgileTV platform, where I deal daily with legacy .NET systems such as our CMS, APIs, import agents, microservices, performant queries in SQL Server and MongoDB databases, as well as maintaining AWS services like ECS, EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS, and others.- I worked on developing the front-end of AgileTV's multi-tenant OTT SmartTV platform for Samsung Tizen and LG webOS where I was responsible for launching several clients into production such as ImagenTV+, RedeTV! GO, and Superplayer TV. I also participated in launching other clients like Alcom (Play+), TV comigo, Telecable (tedi TV), Virgin (TV&GO), Racctel+ (TV+), and Euskaltel (Edonon TV).- During my time as a Smart TV developer, I had the opportunity to carry out work that added significant value to the project, such as:* Implementation of a player from scratch with support for HLS, DASH, VAST, and VMAP aimed at solving a compatibility issue between the IMA SDK and Smart TVs that prevented advertising playback in the player we were using.* Use of Canvas/webGL for refactoring our EPG component, optimizing application performance by about 80% when the component is displayed.* I implemented stress tests with Apache JMeter, enabling the identification of possible performance bottlenecks in the application.- Created technical documentation for training new developers, introducing them to the challenges in Smart TV development, as well as tutorials on how to deploy applications to LG and Samsung stores, helping to reduce the training time for new developers.- Provided support in the development of ClaroTV+'s SmartTV platform, where I was able to collaborate with my previous experience to guide the use of Google Analytics Measurement Protocol, saving time with debugging and research due to gtag.js compatibility issues with smart TVs.
