Driving the development and adoption of ceramic-based solutions for compound semiconductors in the industrial e-mobility, renewable energy, photonics and telecommunication markets.

Led a team of 10 engineers and scientists to commercialize advanced materials designed for bonding, insulation, shielding, interconnection, reinforcement, and thermal management in electronic components. Achieved organic growth across the medical, aerospace, power, industrial automation, and telecom/datacom segments. Spearheaded key initiatives, including digital transformation, knowledge management, upskilling programs, and the integration of sustainability metrics. Hosted global market launch and training webinars engaging over 200 participants.

Managed a multicultural team (USA, Singapore, Germany) to develop specialty materials, including solders, underfills, fluxes, and cleaners for the semiconductor packaging and electronic assembly markets. Delivered six successful product launches in 2015-16, achieving $1M in aggregated sales during ramp-up. Owned end-to-end innovation processes, driving technical roadmapping and global customer engagement across NA, Asia, and Europe. Designed and implemented a stage-gate process, seamlessly integrating R&D with Operations. Forged three key strategic partnerships and showcased our solutions at global conferences.

Designed and launched three state-of-the-art production lines for solar cell metallization pastes and inks, achieving a production capacity of 500 tons per year in 2010 and generating over $1M in sales in FY11. Additionally, I implemented Quality Function Deployment (QFD), established key performance metrics, and fostered a Lean Six Sigma culture, resulting in significant operational improvements. At the conclusion of my tenure, I successfully launched the Electronic Materials Engineering lab, overseeing hiring, CAPEX allocation, and the development of its operating model.

Resolved three major quality issues with tier-1 front-end chip manufacturers, achieving $1.5M in savings in 2007, by applying Six Sigma principles and leveraging a deep understanding of materials performance in semiconductor processes. I also tackled operational challenges through root cause analysis techniques and statistical process control. Additionally, I developed and patented an innovative recycling process for high-value nanoparticles

Managed an R&D laboratory (Formulation and Technical Service) with 15 direct reports, successfully launching three new polymers for the Building and Construction market, generating $900k in sales in 2005.

Developed colloidal dispersions of catalytic nanoparticles in hydrocarbon solvents for automotive pollution control, integrated into 3.5 million passenger cars by 2006. I also designed an automated high-throughput synthesis platform for polymer and inorganic specialties, boosting productivity by 4 with a $500k CAPEX investment.
