As Senior Manager of Design, I provided leadership in design management for a $2.5 billion integrated resort and a $700 million St. Regis Hotel and Residences property on the Cotai Strip in Macau (China):- With 500,000m2 of construction, “The Parisian” integrated resort includes 3,000 guestrooms and suites, large-scale casino and private gaming levels, 30,000m2 of retail, multiple F&B outlets, an exhibition/conference space, a spa and an accessible replica of the Eiffel Tower.- St. Regis Macau includes over 400 guestrooms, 600 condo-style luxury residences, a roof-top spa and multiple F&B fine-dining outlets.Responsibilities:• Managing consultant services to meet operational programmatic requirements, brand positioning and ownership financial goals• Overseeing all interior design services including identification, selection and oversight of design firms; facilitating effective communication between all involved parties; managing costs of design services and timing of project delivery across multiple consultants• Ensuring timely and effective execution of interior design projects• Main point of contact and manager of communication between the development team, design consultants, operations team, construction managers, trade contractors, purchasing managers and vendors/partners • Interfacing with executive management to determine architectural preferences, purpose and function of environment, selection of finishes and furnishings, budget management and other details affecting the planning of interior environments • Guaranteeing that design criteria are met and that brand consistency and integrity are maintained in a cost efficient manner.
