The Construction Development Lab EuroMed is supporting innovations in constructive systems for the Europe and Mediterranean area and for the research center. Its main missions are to:- support innovative system development activities (engineering & design, rapid prototyping…), internally and through external partnerships;- experiment constructive systems and methods (real size prototyping, job site/constructive methods…);- evaluate the performance of constructive systems (monitoring, system testing, analytical and numerical simulation);- bring technical support to commercial projects and customer events.

Based near to Lyon, FranceThe Lafarge Research Center supports the development of the Lafarge Group strategy on innovative material solutions for sustainable construction.The multi-disciplinary team (25-30 researchers) I'm leading is specialized on the material science and design techniques for constructive systems and buildings (mechanics, acoustics, thermal,...). It supports the development of innovative material solutions for sustainable constructive systems and trends. The team also develops advanced numerical tools and methodologies to support innovation and material /system design activities.In addition, I'm in charge of a research program on sustainable construction and supervise research projects on the development of innovative material solutions.
