The program provides for an assessment of Dealer business best practice, operational KPI's, customer satisfaction ratings (CSI), Loyalty ratings, lean best practices and utilising 6 Sigma, Gemba, Kaizen benchmarks, to ensure that the Volvo brand in Italy is recognized as the leader in customer satisfaction and loyalty ratings for the market in Italy. This program positions the customer at the centre of all business & best practice decisions. 2011 & 2012 results have demonstrated excellent improvement of the customer experience, with a CSI "Top Box" improvement of 16% points up from market level, 24% to 40%, with double that at individual dealers that implemented the improvement plan. This has resulted in improved financial performance in the improved set of dealers, with increased revenue of 8% average and subsequent net profit via the LEAN program implementation, in a challenging reduced market revenue of 5% YoY. Following consistent successful results in Italy, the program continues in 2013 in Italy, and has been successfully extended to Volvo dealers in Malaysia.
