Desesperar ou relaxar? Aceitar propostas de trabalho imediatamente (valeu, amigos!) ou experimentar o tão desejado período sabático?Eu estava diante da oportunidade perfeita para colocar suposições à prova e me aprofundar em assuntos que me interessavam.Senti que era importante conhecer o mercado imobiliário sob outro ponto de vista. Fiz um curso de capacitação que me deu uma visão pragmática de como conversar e conquistar a confiança de clientes, adotar fluxos mais ágeis na gestão da imobiliária, alinhar expectativas entre clientes e corretores, e tornar o match de comprador e vendedor um processo mais orgânico. No fim das contas, descobri que os conhecimentos que adquiri em anos na publicidade imobiliária eram mais rasos do que eu supunha. Todos esses movimentos me fizeram ter mais empatia para lidar com os desafios que os profissionais da corretagem encaram.Outro sonho meu era ampliar minha capacidade de me comunicar em inglês. Para isso, intensifiquei meus estudos no Brasil e, no último trimestre de 2021, com a covid-19 já mais controlada, me joguei em um intercâmbio em Seattle. Que aventura! Eu, que sempre tive medo de passar pela alfândega sozinho, me vi totalmente fora da zona de conforto. Foram três meses vivendo em cenários que eu só via em filmes e séries e me conectando com pessoas de culturas do mundo todo.Valeu cada minuto e cada um dos váááaários centavos gastos (haha).Esse tempo no exterior me deu a segurança e desinibição de que eu precisava para ver meus erros e acertos com mais leveza, reforçando a minha crença no poder da CONSTRUÇÃO.Meu sabático rendeu essas e outras caipirinhas.
