Among other things, we've created the brand that became the first billion-dollar Brazilian startup (Movile).

This was my first job in the real world (after working at my university's marketing agency). Donadon was a small advertising agency with many creative minds but not so much strategy - that's why I was hired. The owner was a businessman who didn't have a marketing background, so he wanted to have somebody with an actual diploma on the team. I was on my way of getting one, and he thought that was good enough.For about 2 years at Donadon I was in charge of developing marketing strategies and advertising campaigns for small and medium companies to boost sales and increase market share - bringing a more tactical approach to branding and design.We were so successful that, in early 2012, the owner (my former boss) decided to shut down the agency to pursue his passion of becoming a professional chef - which he did. I gathered all the experience acquired and did some marketing strategy consultancy for a bigger agency, and after a few months they invited me to join the agency as a Marketing Specialist (read the next job experience).

The business school where I got my degree had its own internal marketing agency where selected students could work alongside the teachers in developing marketing strategies for real clients - besides being the university's marketing department.I was 18 when I started working there, and I learned so much from helping my teachers create marketing plans, advertising campaigns, branding strategies, and so on. That's also when I had my first business meetings, which was terrifying to me back then. Little did I know that meeting with clients, understanding their needs and explaining to them how we would achieve their goals would eventually become one of my favourite things in life.To be honest I did a little bit of everything during that one year I worked at the Jr Agency: graphic design, copywriting, web development, marketing plans, market research, and all the rest. I'm glad I had that experience when I was so young, though, because it gave me a broad understanding of the whole range of activities involved in branding and marketing.
