Provided on-call and call-out support as part of the Operational Data Processing team.Large experience with the the Mission Performance Monitoring Facility (MPMF) were developed continuous monitoring reports for S3. Re-wrote completely operational guides for IPT update procedure on PDGS/MPMF side. Involved in the Validation Activities of the Operational Processor (IPF) for SRAL (Altimeter) and have developed tools for Level 0 generation to exercise different levels/instruments. Participation in test campaigns and acceptance meetings on EUM's side (including deliverable review).

Involved in the different phases of the life-cycle of the projects, from the creation of the Statement of Work (including tailoring of ECSS standards) to day-to-day management of the projects, this included the acceptance reviews of deliverables (software, data, [technical or scientific] documentation, algorithms).As part of the activities there was direct interaction with institutional partners and also with the creators of the deliveries, both industry and universities.Developed in-house data processing infrasstructure for altimetry data processing.Responsible for the creation of several propaganda materials (Posters, DVDs, Flyers) for some projects. SMOS Data Viewer is an application developed in JAVA, used to visualize the SMOS products.Provided expertise on SMOS products and was also responsible for the implementation of the visualization of some Level 2 products and general bug fixing of the inherited code (the tool was not developed at Deimos).

Software Engineer working on the SMOS satellite Level 1 Prototype Processor (L1PP). Developed from scratch all the reading and writing routines of all L1 products (over 25) auxiliary data-files (over 20) and L0 products, following strictly the operational product specification (DPGS Format).Expanded the functionality of the L1PP by creating new modules and enlarging some of the existing, including data processing and algorithms modules, with an in-depth rewrite of code, or using external software libraries (Xerces-C, BinXML, etc.).Preparation and execution of validation plans for several L1PP deliveries.Maintainer of the CVS repository.
