I take great pride in speaking regularly at events and conferences like Prolight and Sound, IMEX and the Middle East Event Show.To reach those that don’t have access to training, I've written two books: „The Event Safety Book“ and "Crowd Management Made Easy“ that are globally available. These help event professionals around the world make their events safer.As a member of the Event Safety Alliance, I’m participating in creating the first worldwide recognized standard on event and crowd safety that will be used by governments to create country-specific event safety legislation. For more than 40 years I've been instrumental in shaping the German event industry. Working together with my colleagues in the SevenCenters think tank (the seven biggest convention centers in Germany), I helped transform Event Health and Safety to the level it’s at today in Germany.I took part in creating the formal training curriculum for German Event Technicians. To this day I'm still on the examiners' board.My last station, before setting up Eventknowhow, was as technical director for the largest event location in Germany, DüsseldorfCongress.
