I manage the organization's membership app, which includes a user base of over 300,000 children across Canada and the world. I work closely with our data analyst to review our app users, registrants, and members activity to ensure we are meeting our KPIs, and adjust as needed. I work with our content managers to develop the app communication plan according to the organizations needs. We use the Agile methodology to develop new feature/stories. I supply the development team with all of the art and design assets for new features and create all the technical and feature requirements necessary for each sprint. I have twice weekly meetings with the development team's project manager to ensure all targets are being met, and to work through any challenges/changes that are required. Show less

I worked closely with the Creative Lead and VP of Membership to move the organizations membership program from a web-based experience to an app-based experience after performing a number of focus group studies. I was responsible for developing the user experience and interface by creating wireframes, developing prototypes to test key features, designing the overall interface, and working with the software development team to create and test the app, and implement regular updates.
