I started in AVIS as HelpDesk and my main functions are support end-users, system administration and develop VB applications with interaction with SQL Server.During the time in AVIS I was upgrading my skills in infrastructure design, security and managing projects, AVIS Europe and Portugal projects. I have a great relationship with my colleagues in AVIS UK, AVIS Spain and AVIS Portugal.At this moment I’m responsible to migrate our telephony (PBX) and ADSL communications in all AVIS Portugal sites to a new PT solution (Globalphone). During same period I’m working in a AVIS Europe project that involves virtualization and migration AVIS Portugal datacenter to UK. I developed an account application to generate SAFT-PT file, this application was build with SQL Server, VB and Ms Access. For all this years in AVIS Portugal I had the possibility to expand my experience working with several departments and end-users, so I have a big view of all business departments.Adding to these responsibilities I’m managing HelpDesk team and external persons that works in IT Deptarment and also doing procurement.
