After nearly 9 months as a Contract Employee, I was offered a full time position with Syntellect. My duties and responsibilities continued to expand for the next 4 years as I constantly educated myself and took on new projects. I was responsible for maintaining our Network Infrastructure as well as offering input as to design and growth. I focused on exceptional User Support as well as Back-Up and Disaster Recovery for the Enterprise. I eventually ended up becoming Back-Up and DR Administrator, maintaining all of our backups and successfully recovering the Network from data losses and server failures. During the course of both of these tangents, I also developed my skill at interacting with both vendors and support providers so as to optimize the benefits that Syntellect received from both. I was Administrator for our Sales Force, CommVault Shoretel, Postini, LogMeIn, Sophos services as well as MS Active Directory and System Center and our Support Ticketing System. I have complete mastery of anything Microsoft, PC and MAC, and am able to navigate and configure Cisco and HP Network Appliances as well as Shoretel VOIP equipment and software. I was also responsible for guiding new IT hires as well as helping them acclimate easily.
