I am an operations manager, entrepreneur, and problem solver. I excel at assessing methods and procedures to find improvements, streamline functions, and add consistency. I started my career as Director of Consumer Sales at Berg Manufacturing as an opportunity to use my marketing degree, while also providing me the chance to explore the entrepreneurial side of business. My time at Berg gave me the confidence to branch out on my own to launch Better Air Spokane, which I owned and operated for four years. During my successful operation of my company, my current employer, Better Air NW, realized my potential in creating effective, efficient, and innovative solutions to not only everyday business problems, but the HVAC industry as a whole. As such, I was offered the Operations Manager position with Better Air NW. In this position I have established an equipment and services database to reduce the time to quote customers by over 50%, have automated online booking and routine customer communications saving 36% of booking times, have collaborated with sales and install teams to create a more accurate method of estimating costs and reducing the variability of profit/loss per job by 26%. Through tracking and analytics, I have been able to show the Better Air NW team these positive outcomes due to the changes I have implemented, which has made it easy for them understand and get on board with the changes.
