With a Master's of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction, a Bachelor's of Science (BS) in Marketing, and a Bachelor's of Arts (BA) in Spanish, I have a strong background in Education, Marketing, Sales, and Foreign Language. My MEd in Curriculum and Instruction includes an emphasis in Career and Technical Education. I obtained my degree in August of 2012. Beyond my degree, I hold a Secondary Certification with endorsements in Business Technology, Marketing Technology, Economics, and I also intend to obtain a Spanish endorsement. Upon completion of my Masters, I worked for Boise School District at Longfellow Elementary as an Educational Tutor during the 2012-2013 school year. Recently hired by Nampa School District, I will be a Business Technology teacher at Nampa High School for the 2013-2014 school year.I applied my BS in Marketing as a Sales Assistant at Weyerhaeuser. I gained valuable business experience by assisting the inside and outside sales teams with sales and marketing materials. I taught myself Microsoft Publisher usage for e-newsletters and flyers through hands-on experience. I also mastered the use of Microsoft Excel for sales research and reports.As a Sales Executive at Wide World of Golf, I engaged in all facets of retail operations from merchandising to inventory management. Strong revenue growth resulted from valuable customer relationships.My Foreign Language experience comes from a BA in Spanish and previous education.
