Brya Johnson is a rising maternal health professional focused on Black families and perinatal mental health. She has extensive experience in advocacy and case management. She has worked with maternal health organizations to envision new programs, create social media platforms and engage directly with those who need the most help. Through her professional experience, she has had the opportunity to engage with birthing folks and their families around the country. Going forward, she will be rebranding her full-spectrum doula business to Abundant Spirit Birth + Wellness to fully encapsulate her emphasis on perinatal mental health in the postpartum period. As an MSW and PMH-C, she invites families to have a moment to focus on their whole self through her doula practice. Beyond the physical, she believes that new parents deserve support as they navigate a new state of being.
