Working on Humana Edge Project

IT Infrastructure Project Manager working closely with the General Construction Contractor to build new banking branches and offices throughout the U.S. Scope of Work includes:Low Voltage Cabling; Data Circuits, MDF/IDF Infrastructure, Cisco Network Routers & Switches, Cisco VOIP, Audio & Visual, Bank Security (Tyco) Cameras, motion detectors, Intrusion detection, Alarms, ATM's, Sound Masking.

I am currently managing two major projects with Cannon Design. The first project Cannon Design is implementing a new Cisco Unified Computing System, which includes Cisco computing, Cisco networking, and NetApp Storage. The project also includes implementing this new solution in a new data center ,so there will be challenges with moving 300+ TB of data. and couple thousand users.The second project is to upgrade circuits routers and switches to new MPLS network at 14 international sites.

Technical Release Manager for the organization that manages the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Managing ETL development projects from inception to implementation.

Incident ManagerHSBC/Capital One Credit Card 4/2/2012 to present I Work with a team of Incident Managers to maintain HSBC’s high severity outages for all business units at their tier 4 data center location in Volo, IL. , in which we are working on transitioning the credit card services division of HSBC to Capitol One Finance. Daily activities include managing technical support teams to coordinate efforts to resolve high severity incidents. Also, I coordinate efforts with Problem, Change and Configuration Management to keep technical issues from returning.

Maintaining the State of Georgia’s Computer Operations. In my role I speak to the customer on management bridges to discuss the high severity incidents in relation to time, scope, risks and plan to mitigate the incidents. I follow up communication with technical teams for resolution to these incidents. I work with IBM management to verify and identify SLA’s set by the various customers of the state. I set up project teams to help work solutions and work with the states various contractors to help resolve issues.Projects that I have managed to resolve high severity incidents include:• Network issues including wireless AP, firewalls, routers, switches and data circuits, and cabling.• Server hardware replacement and software upgrades on MS, Unix, and Novel.• SAN storage devices. • VOIP Services. • Email, Active Directory and Directory Services.• Infrastructure such as UPS, fiber repeaters, and various types of cabling

Managed projects for Kraft FoodsUtilized MS Project for Gantt charts, WBS breakdown structures, cost scheduling, and time work, then provided to the project team.• Managed and installed (VOIP) protocol and wireless access at headquarter locations serving over 10,000 users.• Conducted data center move of over 450 servers and 30 data center switches.• Oversaw data center upgrades which includes Move, Adds, and Changes • Directed video conferencing equipment upgrade at headquarters’ location.• Managed Cisco, AT&T, and electrical contractors for all Kraft projects.• Performed day to day activities including managing network access, repairing any phone, data, and video incident tickets

Managed Incident Change Release and problem for General Motors/ Onstar

• Managed various data center projects including (servers, Cisco network, data circuit, environmental, electrical, and cabling).• Data Center Server upgrade project. Scope consolidate all servers to new Windows 2000 servers. PM responsibilities included planning-closing phase, Team of 20, Budget $100,000.• Data Center circuit consolidation project. Scope- Identify all circuits within the data center and then install new T 3 circuits. . PM responsibilities included planning- closing phase. Team 5 budget $100,000.• Data Centers Infrastructure upgrades at AA data center. Scope to upgrade DC from 16 meg token ring backbone to Cisco Hardware platform with gigabit backbone. PM responsibilities included planning-closing phase. Team of 20, budget 2 million. • Deployed over 35 thousand workstations worldwide over a two year period.• Managed a team of level three desktop support personnel to install new desktop environments for AA.• Managed the desktop hardware vendors for all of AA.• Upgraded to a converging network so the data and voice infrastructure could achieve 1000/mbs backbone and 100/mbs to desktop/ phone.• Managed the install of new Cisco Gigabit network backbone for AA. The project included vendor management and a team of installers for five states and over 30 sites (Midwest region).• Directed the install of new Microsoft servers and desktops for the entire AA Midwest region.• Conducted the opening of new Terminal 3 G concourses for American Eagle Airlines.• Led the install of wireless access for AA and AE terminals at O’Hare.• Performed day to day activities including fixing all phone, data, and desktop incident tickets in the Midwest region.• Responsible for the conversion of Reno Airlines to American Airlines Call Center/Data Center.• Utilized MS Project finalize the conversion and to transfer Reno Airlines information into A.A.’s systems.• Oversaw the data and voice equipment migration in the call center.•
