An IT engineer when my career began, a strong technical foundation has differentiated my career from most sales & marketing executives. Over the course of my career I've held numerous technical certifications, including: Novell CNE, SSCP, Security+, and CIPP, However, it was graduating top of the class in business school that is my proudest accomplishment. The commitment to continuing education has enabled me to offer prospective employers and clients the business acumen of an MBA and market vision of a technologist.Over the course of my career I've been fortunate to play key roles in firms that have developed cutting edge technologies that have transformed a myriad of industries. Early in my career I helped to build a $2 billion business at SynOptics Communications selling intelligent hub/switch and router technology to corporate accounts. From there I lead the sales and business development effort that pioneered the layer-4, application switching market. My career is quite literally a road map of cutting edge innovation where my role was to build and lead small entrepreneurial teams that introduced new products to market.
