Warehouse / Production Supervisor
Supervised and directed seven-member warehouse team. Supervised and directed five-member piezo film and cable team. Insure kits are processed and filled properly in a timely manner for all departments. Hold and prepare daily departmental tier 1, 2, and 3 boards, meetings, and training. Planning, scheduling, and insuring completion of daily work orders. Maintain and confirm employee’s hours. Perform hiring, screening, counseling and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Monitored and adjusted, as necessary, documented inventory of raw material and component parts through daily cycle counts and annual physical inventory for two departments. Forecast and maintained stocking requirements to meet stocking strategies. Resolved inventory related issues to ensure accuracy. Inventory and procure critical department supplies to avoid unnecessary down time. Research and procurement of two departments' equipment and supplies. Member of company safety and behavior based safety team. Writing and reviewing company’s standard operating procedures. Point of contact for department audits. Test 100% of film to ensure quality. Insure employees use proper protective equipment for the task at hand. Scheduling and performing preventive maintenance on department’s equipment.Directly responsible for weekly results of profit and loss. Maintain payroll records to insure accuracy of total hours worked for employees. Project sales from previous week and months to accurately schedule labor hours. Knowledgeable in ISO 9000 manufacturing processes. Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing Concept to include implementation. Experience in initiating and participating in Kaizen Events. Experience with root cause analysis. Interpret blueprints and assembly drawings. Knowledgeable in Kronos Workforce Management System. Knowledgeable in SAP. Knowledgeable in reviewing and creating shipping manifests. Experience with shipping and receiving. Certified forklift operator.
