Contract instructional support for Public Information Officer courses through FEMA's National Disaster and Emergency Management University.

As the Public Information Officer for the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, Bryan is responsible for the day-to-day management of how information is provided to the media and public through both traditional and non-traditional channels of communication. Bryan oversees the overall communications program for the agency that includes the organization's website, social media efforts and printed publications. He is also a Florida-certified law enforcement officer.

In this role, Bryan managed the non-credit, continuing education programs for professionals in the public service sectors of law enforcement, fire, emergency management, legal assisting, public administration and human services. He also oversaw the marketing, promotion and media relations efforts for the College’s 50-acre, $38 million public safety training complex and was responsible for building and strengthening local, state and national relationships that lead to training, development and customized consulting efforts. Bryan is an adjunct instructor in Public Administration courses at the baccalaureate level and has designed four courses in the Quality Matters online course format. These include Policy Development and Implementation, Public Budgeting and Finance, State and Local Government and Public Relations in the Public Sector.

Bryan was responsible for all marketing, public relations and outreach for the Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex at Indian River State College.

Bryan was the Executive Assistant to the President of Indian River State College where he managed state legislative affairs, developed speeches and presentations on behalf of the President and coordinated numerous groundbreakings, building dedications and other special events.
