Support security services, yard management, multiple lines of business and other remote OC locations. Special project management and support, utilizing lean processes, providing value-added services to the individuals and groups we serve.Achievements:Recipient of the 2014 Presidential Award for Operational Excellence for contributions as a team member in a Kaizen event addressing OC congestion. Nominated for the 2019 Presidential Award for Operational Excellence for contributions and support in the staging of equipment from a remote, dedicated site, enabling sub lease of property to minimize expenditures.Recipient of the 2020 Presidential Award for Safety for contributions in sourcing, packaging and distribution of PPE and other supplies to keep drivers and associates safe during the covid pandemic.

Serve as the operational link between the organization, the driver team and our customer base. Lead, coach and develop CDL-A OTR drivers operating conventional sleeper cab equipment throughout the contiguous forty-eight states. Work closely with organizational partners to operate safely, effectively and profitably.

Manage intermodal drayage, truckload, LTL and cross-docking operations in eight-state Memphis region, directing front-line and support managers. Responsible for customer service, retention & growth, P&L, safety and equipment maintenance; mixing modes to maximize reveune per mile. Facilities management; thirty-five door warehouse & dock, three-bay shop, bulk fuel and leased parking/dock space; ensure terminal meets DOT, OSHA and EPA guidelines. Supervise approximately fifty exempt and non-exempt employees; driver candidate recruitment, selection and retention; regional CDL-A, HM-endorsed drivers operating day cab equipment. Develop executive candidates in organization's Manager-in-Training program, preparing them for OM and TM roles throughout system.

Manage intermodal drayage, truckload, LTL and cross-docking operations in eight-state Memphis region in a front-line manager capacity, supervising approximately forty-five regional CDL-A, HM-endorsed drivers. Responsible for operational planning and execution, supporting and building upon our customer base; partnering with counterparts in other facilities throughout the southeastern region, supporting operations outside of each teriminal's functional area.

Supervise store delivery operations of approximately 25M cartons annually in ten-state region for 850k sq ft distribution center; manage outbound carrier performance; manage Dispatch department for outbound store shipments. During stint as RTS, also responsbile for the Expeditor role, supervising the Scheduling and Logistics departments. Responsible for yard management and improvement in supporting DC operations. Special projects management, including the largest DC/store realignment in Target history at that time.

Supervise approximately thirty team members in de-palletization and shipping areas. Collateral duties included Safety Supervisor for DC.

CDL-C class, HM-endorsed; team leader capacity on reload; train/develop reload personnel.

Service-oriented business, providing a wide-range of services including consultation, design, installation and maintenance services for freshwater and marine aquariums in commercial and residential environments and the retail sales of dry goods and live fresh and marine fish and invertebrates.
