After many years in education, I have transitioned careers into the world of accounting and finance. I enjoy exploring opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency in various pursuits, whether in teaching others, studying and learning independently, improving my own workflows, or examining processes and systems. My experience in education has been a great course in appreciating the value of lifelong learning, teamwork, and even humility. My passion for foreign languages and international contexts also speaks to how important people are in any field. I look forward to contributing to a goal beyond what I can achieve alone—it is rewarding to be part of a team with a common mission and vision, which is what I hope to find in my next role in accounting or finance. More recently, my education in accounting has been an indispensable part of building my domain expertise, which I am excited to be able to apply through various projects, both professionally and personally.
